Qualcomm's performance supremacy looks set to continue. Popular benchmark platform AnTuTu has now released its monthly performance chart covering tests logged in December, and Qualcomm chipsets maintain dominance yet again.
The Nubia RedMagic 10 Pro+ gaming phone sits atop the pile on the flagship chart thanks to its Snapdragon 8 Elite and enhanced cooling system, with a total AnTuTu score of 2,924,229. It edges out the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro, yet another Snapdragon 8 Elite phone. In third place sits the first Dimensity 9400-powered device on the list, OPPO's Find X8 Pro.
Interestingly, however, there are six Dimensity 9400 devices on the flagship list to the Snapdragon 8 Elite's four, potentially hinting at the MediaTek chipset being the more powerful chipset on average across various applications.
It's more of the same on the sub-premium phones list, with the OnePlus Ace 3V and its Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 taking top spot. Another device with that same chipset, the Realme GT Neo6 SE. The Redmi K70E and its MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra take third place on the list, with the other spots being held by older Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 and Dimensity 8200 devices. That said, MediaTek's new Dimensity 8400 just made its debut aboard the Redmi Turbo 4 and we expect the duo to clinch the #1 spot on the January iteration of this chart.
