The Redmi Note 14 series is on the verge of its third run out, having initially debuted in China over three months ago. Following that, Xiaomi then brought the series to India, where it is sold as the Redmi Note 14 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G. Now, Xiaomi has outlined the global launch date for the Redmi Note 14 series, which it has set for January 10.
Incidentally, that means that Xiaomi will replace the Redmi Note 13 5G (curr. $212 on Amazon) and its peers just a day after it presents the Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro globally. Officially, Xiaomi has only confirmed that the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G will be in attendance. However, there is every reason to suggest that the Redmi Note 14 5G and Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G will be joining their stablemate.
Presumably, the former will arrive with the same hardware as its Indian counterpart too, rather than the original Chinese model. For context, Xiaomi offers the Redmi Note 14 in India with a different front-facing camera, as well as an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens that is missing altogether from its Chinese sibling.
January 10 could mark the official introduction of 4G models, too. Currently, Xiaomi has not said anything to that effect. With that being said, specifications, product images and prices for two 4G models leaked online at the backend of last year. As a result, we suspect that the Redmi Note 14 series will line up as follows for its global release:
- Redmi Note 14 4G
- Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G
- Redmi Note 14 5G
- Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G
- Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus 5G
