Xiaomi is expected to launch the 165W Power Bank 10000 (Integrated Cable) globally this month. The accessory arrived in China in September, with speculation that it could launch internationally in the future.
The Xiaomi 165W Power Bank has now been mentioned in relation to an event for the Redmi Note 14 smartphone series, which will take place on January 10th. A page on the brand’s global website suggests that this portable accessory will also be shown at the conference alongside the Redmi Buds 6 Pro and the Redmi Watch 5.
As its name suggests, the Xiaomi 165W Power Bank has a 10,000mAh capacity, enough to charge an iPhone 15 Pro Max 1.75 times or a Xiaomi 14 Pro 1.8 times. There is an integrated USB-C cable and a USB-C port, allowing you to charge two devices simultaneously with support for fast-charging protocols, including PD 3.0, PPS and QC 3.0. The maximum single port output is 120W; when charging two gadgets, the second port is limited to 45W for a total output of 165W. The device recharges via a 90W USB-C input, reaching a 55% charge in 15 minutes. Plus, you can view the remaining battery level and charging status on the built-in color display.
It remains to be seen precisely when the Xiaomi 165W Power Bank 10000 (Integrated Cable) will go on sale and in which countries. As an indication of the price, the accessory retails for CNY 199 (~$27) in China. If it reaches the US, it will compete with devices like the Anker Prime 12000mAh Power Bank (130W), currently $89.99 at Amazon.
