The Lenovo Yoga Air power bank series has been launched in China, and it introduces two new magnetic wireless power banks. Among the two, one features a rated capacity of 3,000 mAh, while the other is rated at 5,000 mAh. Both of them sport a thin and light form factor, with the former measuring at around 59 mm and the latter at about 89 mm.
With strong magnets, Lenovo says that both the Yoga Air power banks can offer stable and secure magnetic wireless charging. While the built-in magnets make it perfect for MagSafe-enabled iPhones, it works with other Android phones with support for magnetic wireless charging, such as the Oppo Find X8.
As for the charging speeds, in the wireless charging mode, these two wireless charging power banks max out at 7.5 W. Both of them have a USB-C input/output port, and with it, the one with 3,000 mAh portable charger can offer 10 W of wired fast charging, while the 5,000 mAh model can deliver 20 W of power in the wired mode.
Other than that, both these two Lenovo Yoga Air power banks support Qi and PD charging protocols. This makes the portable chargers compatible with a wide range of phones and accessories, including low-powered devices such as wireless earbuds.
Pricing-wise, the one with a 3,000 mAh rated capacity launched at CNY 129 in China (about $18), while the 5,000 mAh power bank launched at CNY 159 (around $22). There's no word on global availability yet, but the Anker 621 is currently a good alternative for the international market (available on Amazon).
