Chinese GPU maker Moore Threads has launched the MTT X300, a professional-level graphics card with 16 GB of GDDR6 memory. It’s designed to work with various CPU architectures and offers 14.4 TFLOPS of raw computing power.

Chinese GPU maker Moore Threads has just expanded its lineup with the MTT X300, a professional-level graphics card built on the second-generation MUSA “Chunxiao” architecture. Fueled by 4,096 MUSA stream processing units, it can pump out an impressive 14.4 TFLOPS of single-precision floating-point performance.

Under the hood, the MTT X300 packs 16 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit interface, delivering a bandwidth of 448 GB/s. It hooks up to your system through a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, and you’ll find three DisplayPort 1.4a outputs plus one HDMI 2.1 port, allowing for up to four displays at resolutions as high as 8K.

On the video side, it supports a wide range of codecs—AV1, H.265, H.264, VP8, VP9, AVS, AVS2, MPEG4, and MPEG2—and can handle up to 36 channels of 1080p video at 30 FPS for both encoding and decoding.

Moore Threads has developed drivers that work with x86, Arm, and LoongArch CPU architectures, and the GPU plays nicely with operating systems like Tongxin, Kylin, Fangde, Ubuntu, and Windows. It also integrates with popular rendering engines such as Unreal Engine, Unity, Cesium, ORGE, and osgEarth.

Designed with CAD, BIM, and GIS applications in mind, as well as non-linear video editing, the MTT X300 is geared toward professional visualization work. While it shares its core specs with Moore Threads’ S80 gaming card, the X300 gets fine-tuned firmware and drivers to meet the needs of professionals. The card runs with a TGP of 255W.
