It's no secret that AMD fans are perched on the edge of their seats, awaiting what the Red Camp has in store for its upcoming "Strix Halo" lineup of high-end APUs. We already know that the Strix Halo products will boast Zen 5 cores only, eschewing the Zen 5/Zen 5c hybrid approach that its Strix Point sibling went for.
Perhaps even more interestingly, we are also aware that the Strix Halo lineup will feature incredibly powerful iGPUs, including the Radeon 8060S iGPU that will be found in the highest-end Strix Halo APU with performance that rivals mid-range discrete GPUs, such as the RTX 4060, as revealed by a previous Geekbench Vulkan leak. Now, it appears that we have yet another leaked benchmark listing that reveals a similar story.
Courtesy of @all_the_watts, the alleged listing of what appears to be the 3D Mark Time Spy score for the 8060S iGPU has leaked online. According to the details, the Radeon 8060S iGPU managed a score of 12,516 in the aforementioned benchmark, which is right around the same range as an RTX 4060 Ti Laptop, and noticeably ahead of the RTX 4060 Laptop.
Now, of course, that does sound pretty impressive, but let's not forget that the RTX 50 "Blackwell" GPUs are right around the corner as well. Moreover, there is no doubt that Nvidia's current-gen and next-gen GPUs will have substantially better ray-tracing performance. With all that in mind, it will be interesting to see how AMD positions its Strix Halo offerings. For now, we do know that the Asus ROG Flow Z13 tablet will sport the upcoming APUs, and it does seem to be the perfect candidate.
