LG Gram Pro 2025 gets Lunar Lake, Arrow Lake and 120 Hz OLED
The successor to the LG Gram Pro 2024 has arrived, bringing with it a number of significant new features. The new line-up consists of a total of four models: the cheaper LG Gram Book, the Gram Pro 16 and 17, and the Gram Pro 2-in-1. The LG Gram Book is not particularly light, weighing 1.7 kg (3.74 lb), and still only has a 51 Wh battery, a 15.6-inch 1080p display and a 720p webcam.
More interesting is the LG Gram Pro 16 (16Z90TS), which packs an Intel Lunar Lake chip up to Core Ultra 9 288V, a 77 Wh battery and a 16-inch, 144 Hz QHD display in 16:10 format with a brightness of 400 nits into a 1.24 kg (2.73 lb) case. The LG Gram Pro 17 (17Z90TR) has a larger 17-inch QHD display and a 90 Wh battery, but also weighs in at 1.48 kg (3.26 lb). This model comes with a brand new Intel Arrow Lake-H processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU.
The LG Gram Pro 2-in-1 (16T90TP) is the only convertible in the portfolio and combines Intel Arrow Lake-H, an Intel Arc iGPU and a 77 Wh battery with a 1.4 kg (3.08 lb) case. This model is optionally available with a 120 Hz OLED display with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 or with a 144 Hz IPS panel with 2,560 x 1,600. LG specifies a brightness of 400 nits in either case.
All models in the LG Gram Pro 2025 series offer up to 32 GB RAM, two M.2 SSDs, 2 x 3 watt stereo speakers, a 1080p webcam with facial recognition for Windows login and a total of five ports, including two Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C), two USB-A and HDMI 2.1.
Prices and availability
LG has not yet confirmed details on the price and availability of the Gram 2025 series. More information on the launch is likely to be confirmed at CES in the coming days.
