LG Electronics has revealed it will bring new ultra-light LG Gram laptops to CES 2026. The devices will feature the proprietary Exaone generative AI model and extended battery performance.

The LG Gram Pro AI 2026 is powered by Exaone 3.5, a large language model that can process AI functions locally. The My Archive feature stores data from files on the computer to power local searches and produce AI-generated responses.

The new LG Gram laptops continue the series' light weight tradition, with the 16-inch model weighing only 1.199 kg, according to LG. The company states that the Gram Pro uses an advanced material called Aerominum, which is usually found in aircraft.

The South Korean electronics maker also highlights the battery life of the incoming laptops. The 16-inch model comes with a 77 Wh battery that lasts up to 27 hours between charges. LG claims just 30 minutes of charging will keep the laptop going for more than nine hours.

LG will introduce seven LG Gram models in South Korea on January 6, including the LG Gram Pro AI, LG Gram Pro 360 AI, and LG Grambook AI.

Previously, LG unveiled two Gram Pro models in July 2025. The 16Z90TR and 17Z90TR are both powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 series 2 255H chipset with a dedicated Nvidia RTX 5050 GPU. They weigh 1.3 kg and 1.4 kg, respectively.
