Asus has refreshed its Vivobook S14 and Vivobook S16 models at CES 2026, offering a slew of new processor options. Speaking more precisely, the Vivobook S14 and the Vivobook S16 laptops now come in next-generation AMD Ryzen AI (probably the Ryzen AI 400 series) and Intel Core Ultra 9 Series 3 processors. There’s the Qualcomm option as well. However, the Vivobook S16 is the only model that is available with the Snapdragon X2 Elite chipset.
Both models feature the same metallic design with a CNC-engraved logo. Dimension-wise, all three variants are just 1.59 cm (0.62 inch) thin. However, the AMD and Snapdragon variants are slightly on the heavier side, weighing 1.70 kg (3.74 lbs). While the Vivobook S14/S16 Intel variant weighs just 1.40 kg (3 lbs).
As for display, the S16 Snapdragon variant offers a choice between a 2.5K IPS or WUXGA OLED panel. On the other hand, the S14 and S16 Intel/AMD models ship with WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixel resolution) displays that cover 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. There are also some similarities in all three models, including up to 32 GB of RAM, up to 1 TB of internal storage, Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 6 support, a 70 Wh battery, and a large touchpad with smart gesture support.
In terms of ports, there’s a wide range of port options available, including a pair of USB 4, USB 3.2 Type A, and USB 3.2 Type C ports, HDMI 2.1 (TMDS), and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The company hasn’t yet announced the price and availability details for the latest Vivobook S14 and the Vivobook S16 models.
