Despite Nvidia's radio silence about the existence of entry-level GeForce RTX 5050 and 5060 GPUs, LG, Lenovo, and Razer have already — seemingly by accident — confirmed next-gen RTX 5050 and 5060 upgrades for their entry-level gaming laptops.

For 2025, Nvidia is finally seemingly returning to form with a budget GeForce RTX 5050 GPU in both desktop and laptop variants. While not much is known about the desktop variant, there has been a steady stream of RTX 5050 Laptop leaks, both from the usual suspects and seemingly from laptop makers themselves.

As spotted by Videocardz, it looks like LG, Lenovo, and Razer have all accidentally tipped their RTX 5050 and RTX 5060 laptops. For the entry-level, LG has apparently leaked via its Chinese site that the next-gen LG Gram 16 Pro will have an RTX 5050 GPU option available. Not much more was shared regarding specifications for the upcoming productivity laptop, but LG's leak did at least confirm that the RTX 5050 will be limited to 8 GB of VRAM.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 5050 has also been confirmed by Lenovo as coming to the IdeaPad Pro 5 16, and Razer has revealed the RTX 5060, which would arrive later in 2025 in the Razer Blade 16. According to the Razer Blade 16 specifications, which we covered in another leak, the RTX 5060 in the new Blade will also be limited to 8 GB of GDDR7 VRAM, and it will seemingly have 15 Watts of additional GPU headroom via Dynamic Boost. The RTX 5060 Blade 16 will supposedly cost $1,999.99, although this will likely change due to tariff-related price increases.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7i is already available with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU (curr. $3,099.99 at Best Buy).

The biggest take-away from these laptop RTX 5050 and 5060 leaks is the prospective launch window, which LG tips as Q2 2025 for the RTX 5050. While Razer and Lenovo haven't said much about the release date for their respective laptops, previous leaks indicated that the RTX 5060 should launch around May.

This news follows recent leaks of an RTX 5060-powered Lenovo Yoga Pro 9 Gen 10 multimedia laptop out of a Portuguese retailer. As the launch date or dates for the RTX 5000 Laptop GPUs draw near, more information will likely leak, but for the time being, we have catalogued the available info in our GPU database pages for the RTX 5050 Laptop and RTX 5060 Laptop
