Alleviating fears of delays, the Razer Blade 16 is finally available. US buyers can choose from several configurations with RTX 50-series GPUs. Notebookcheck's review concluded that the slimmer gaming laptop doesn't sacrifice performance.

Buyers had concerns when most Razer laptops disappeared from the manufacturer's US storefront. That included the Blade 16, with tariffs complicating pre-orders. Fortunately, Razer announced that all variations of the 16-inch gaming laptop are in stock. Configurations using AMD Ryzen AI 9 300 CPUs start at $2999.99, with an RTX 5090 option priced as high as $4899.99.

When announced at CES 2025, the most obvious difference with the Blade 16 was its thickness. After complaints about chunkiness with the 2024 edition, Razer managed to trim the latest version to .59 inches at its thinnest point. To ensure thermals aren't compromised, the laptop utilizes a new vapor chamber cooling system and ultra-thin exhaust fins. Razer also switched to Ryzen AI 9 300 processors, aiming for more efficient performance.

Notebookcheck's Razer Blade 16 review praised the laptop for providing a desktop-like gaming experience. Even with a trimmer profile, Razer didn't sacrifice build quality. Also, its QHD+ 240Hz OLED display stands out, with vibrant and accurate colors.

One drawback is the laptop's soldered 32 GB or 64 GB LPDDR5X 8000 MHz memory. The lack of upgradeable RAM may become an issue when customizing a system during checkout. Buyers can select from Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5080, and RTX 5090 graphics cards and two Ryzen AI 9 CPUs. However, some configurations could limit memory and storage options.

The good news is that the pre-order uncertainty seems to be over for US customers. Regardless of the variation, the Razer Blade 16 should ship promptly and arrive as soon as the end of April. For now, the gaming laptop is available exclusively at Razer's website and physical retail stores. Sadly, most Blade 14 and Blade 18 models remain out of stock.
