Deal | Lightweight Acer Swift Go 14 laptop gets 33% price cut, drops below $600

Launched in the second half of 2023, the Acer Swift Go 14 remains a compelling, cost-effective option in Acer’s lineup. Donning a slim and light chassis, the 14-incher packs a sufficiently speedy Core Ultra 7 15HH APU which, when combined with a respectable 65 Wh battery, delivers speedy performance and good battery life.

The laptop has now become an even better options thanks to a sizeable discount at B&H Photo. The Acer Swift Go 14 is now on sale for just $599, a discount of $300 over B&H Photo’s listed retail price. A Core Ultra 7 155H APU, 16 GB of LPDDR5X memory, 512 GB of storage, and a 14-inch FHD+ touch-capable IPS panel make for a compelling sub-$600 package (linked at the end).

Thankfully, the Acer Swift Go 14 puts the hardware to good use, as we revealed by our review. Our review device, which was a slightly different configuration with an OLED display, 32 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage, proved to be a snappy contender thanks to the Core Ultra 7 155H. We also noted that the 8-core Arc iGPU was powerful enough for light gaming and aiding in editing workloads.

The Acer Swift Go 14 combines this performance with manageable thermals and noise. Additionally, the 65 Wh cell resulted in an 8-hour WLAN runtime on our review unit. With a lower-resolution IPS panel, the Swift Go 14 on sale should last longer.

In what is becoming increasingly rare these days, the Acer Swift Go 14 brings a healthy port selection that doesn’t skimp on necessities like an SD card reader and expandable storage. While we would’ve liked to see both upgradable RAM and storage, the presence of two M.2 slots will allow users to expand the 512 GB available storage to more than 1 TB for pretty cheap.

All in all, if you need a no-frills daily driver that is portable, lightweight, and doesn’t cost a ton of money, the Acer Swift Go 14 on sale is a great choice.
