The price of the iPad 11 has now dropped to just $299.
Original article continues as follows:
Apple's iPad lineup needs no introduction, being by far the most popular family of tablets currently available on the market. For those prefer not to shell out north of $500 for the iPad Air and iPad Pro lineups, the entry-level iPad 11 presents itself as an affordable option with plenty of impressive features. Thanks to a recent discount on Amazon, the iPad 11 can now be purchased for just $299.
At its heart, the Apple iPad 11 is powered by the A16 SoC paired with 6 GB of memory which powered the iPhone 15 lineup, allowing for flagship-grade performance that should be more than sufficient for the vast majority of tasks in 2025. The 4-core GPU is powerful enough to handle popular iOS games, but Apple M-series exclusive titles are unsurprisingly out of the question. The entry variant now ships with 128 GB of storage, which is undoubtedly a welcome upgrade from last generation's 64 GB. There is no support for Apple Intelligence, which might not be that great of a deal-breaker, considering the mediocre reception that was received by Apple's AI push.
As CNET's review indicates, the iPad 11 is a perfectly decent tablet for lightweight workloads and casual usage. The 11" display sports a resolution of 2360 x 1640, allowing for a respectable pixel density of 264 PPI. The front-camera, now landscape, is pretty decent as well, with excellent video quality. All in all, the 11th generation of Apple's entry-level iPad continues to offer compelling value, considering that interested buyers are willing to accept the lack of Apple Intelligence.
