Three Lenovo ThinkPad L series laptops have been refreshed. Among the new models are the L13 Gen 6, L14 Gen 6, and L16 Gen 2. The latter two can be equipped with up to AMD Ryzen AI Pro 300 series and Intel Arrow Lake-H CPUs.

Lenovo has introduced three new laptops from the ThinkPad L series: the L13 Gen 6, L14 Gen 6, and L16 Gen 2. Per the company, the latter two are designed with productivity in mind, while the first new laptop is for mobile business. Among the three, the L13 can be equipped with Intel Core Ultra 200U series processors or AMD Ryzen 7 Pro. Lenovo hasn't yet specified the options.

However, Lenovo does mention that the L13 Gen 6 brings a range of improvements over the predecessor. Among them is the option to equip the new laptop with brighter displays, with the top-end display featuring a brightness rating of 400 nits. It's said to have a new port configuration as well, featuring two Thunderbolt 4 ports and an optional Smart Card reader.

The company is also offering a 2-in-1 version of the compact L13 Gen 6, which sports an onboard garaged pen, making the lightweight laptop ideal for sketching and notetaking. Other highlights include a front camera setup with a 5 MP sensor and IR camera, up to 84% screen-to-body ratio, and a 50% recycled aluminum build.

Lenovo's new ThinkPad L14 Gen 6 and L16 Gen 2 are productivity-first laptops

There are two more additions to the ThinkPad L series: L14 Gen 6 and L16 Gen 2. As mentioned earlier, these are designed with productivity in mind. These laptops can be configured with up to Intel Arrow Lake 200H series and AMD Ryzen AI Pro 300 series processors. Again, Lenovo didn't offer specific details about the CPU options.

They have support for up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5,600 MHz and 2 TB of PCIe 4 SSD (2 TB Samsung 990 EVO Plus curr. $129.99 on Amazon). Both these two ThinkPad laptops can also be equipped with up to an IPS panel with a 500 nits brightness rating and 57 Whr battery.
