Some users might already be familiar with the CoreBook X, but the manufacturer Chuwi has now introduced a new model variant of this notebook. It’s apparently designed for users who need a reasonable amount of performance, although this is certainly not the fastest machine on the planet.
To be more exact, the Chuwi CoreBook X is powered by the Intel Core i9-13900HK, which was released back in 2023 and is paired with 32GB RAM running at 3,200MHz. The memory can be upgraded to 96GB after purchase, while the M.2-2280 SSD has a storage capacity of 1TB.
The display doesn’t have the most common aspect ratio, as the 14-inch IPS screen has a 3:2 resolution of 2160 x 1440 pixels. External monitors can be hooked up via HDMI 1.4 or USB 3.0 Type-C. In terms of connectivity, the Chuwi CoreBook X offers two additional USB-A 3.0 ports, an SD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The laptop is powered by a traditional barrel plug and supports both WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Furthermore, the notebook measures around 12 x 9 x 0.7 inches, weighs about 3 lbs and is equipped with a 46Wh battery. Chuwi has yet to disclose an official list price and release date of the new CoreBook X.
