Chuwi unveils AuBox mini PC powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS CPU, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and 512GB PCIe SSD
Chuwi has launched its latest AuBox miniPC with a powerful AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS CPU, a solid mid-range CPU with 8-cores and 16-threads capable of heavy multitasking.
The CPU is coupled with the AMD Radeon 780M GPU, a powerful integrated graphics solution with 12 compute units capable of hardware raytracing. The system comes with 16GB DDR5 RAM and a 512GB PCIe SSD. Dual memory and SSD slots allow for expansion to up to 64GB RAM and 2TB SSD.
An external 120 watt power supply and internal cooling fan allow the system to run with a thermal design power (TDP) of 65 watts, sufficient for prolonged 3D rendering and gaming. Gamers can connect to each other in LAN parties over dual 2.5G Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.1. A 3.5 mm headphone jack allows gamers to use wired headphones, providing lower latency than Bluetooth headphones.
The AuBox 8745HS supports up to four external 4K monitors at once over two USB ports, one HDMI port, and one DisplayPort. All monitors can run at up to 144 Hz, with the exception of the HDMI-connected monitor at 120 Hz. The aluminum AuBox can be mounted out-of-sight behind a monitor using a VESA mount. It measures 154 × 152 × 45 mm (6.1 x 6.0 x 1.8 in.) and weighs 740 g (1.6 lbs.).
