The Epic Games Store has outlined its plans for its free game giveaway service throughout 2025. To recap, it has been giving away games for macOS and Windows for years, including triple-A titles released across the Xbox Series S|X and PlayStation 5 (curr. $499 on Amazon). Last month also marked the start of its mobile free game program, which it provides on Android and iOS.
According to Epic Games, it gave away 89 games last year across all platforms at a total value of $2,229. So far, the storefront has given a dozen titles the same treatment, including the following until February 20:
- Bloons TD 6 (Android/iOS)
- Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee (Android/iOS)
- F1 Manager 2024 (PC)
In a press release, Epic Games claims that its free game program 'is not slowing down', adding that it will continue throughout 2025 'on both PC and mobile'. To that end, the list of free games offered this year will expand by at least three on Thursday. However, it remains to be seen whether this year will yield more free games than last year, given the addition of a second giveaway program.
As it stands, the storefront has announced that two new PC games will be available for $0.00 apiece in a deal worth $59.98. Added to that, at least one new mobile game will be added to replace Bloons TD 6 (Android/iOS) and Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee. No further details about Epic Games' next Android or iOS giveaway are known for the time being, though.
