The Legion Pro 7i 16 Gen 10 is Lenovo's hottest new gaming laptop in the market at the moment with its beefy 400 W AC adapter and brand new design. Its OLED display is equally imposing with its fast refresh rate, P3 colors, G-Sync support, Advanced Optimus, and DisplayHDR1000 compatibility. If you're an early adopter, however, you may have noticed one of these features curiously missing.
The latest (Q7CN31WW) BIOS update from Lenovo dated April 9 brings back G-Sync support to early batches of the Legion Pro 7i 16 Gen 10 that may have shipped with older BIOS versions. Such units are unable to activate G-Sync which we can confirm with our own Legion Pro 7i 16 Gen 10 test unit. As usual, the G-Sync setting can be toggled through Nvidia Control Panel or the Nvidia App should the system support the feature.
The BIOS update can be found on Lenovo's official support website here. See our full review on the Legion Pro 7i 16 Gen 10 to learn more about the model.
