The latest Lenovo laptop deal combines the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX CPU with the Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. While not the lightest 16-inch candidate, the Legion Pro 7 prioritizes gaming performance. The display on the OLED gaming laptop also delivers deep blacks and vibrant HDR visuals.

Tempting gaming laptop deals still exist even with rising storage and memory costs. The Lenovo Legion Pro 7 Gen 10 ships with the potent AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processor and RTX 5070 Ti GPU. Just as impressive is its 16-inch WQXGA OLED display, which boasts a maximum 240Hz refresh rate.

The $1649 configuration on sale at the Lenovo store comes with a healthy 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB M.2 SSD. To receive the $1550 discount off its normal $3200 price, enter code GAMINGDEALS at checkout.

A gaming laptop with subtle styling

Despite its entertainment focus, the Legion Pro 7 OLED doesn’t have a gaudy appearance. Modest RGB accents highlight an aluminum exterior. Build quality is solid, but the gaming laptop is not the most portable 16-inch option. It’s noticeably chunkier than the Razer Blade 16, and a 400-watt power adapter adds to its appropriately 6lb/2.72kg weight.

Notebookcheck reviewed the Legion Pro 7i, with the key difference being the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU. Moving to the AMD Fire Range processor should only benefit gaming performance. Benchmarks show small, but notable gains for the Ryzen 9 9955HX at a comparable QHD resolution.

OLED gaming laptop deals in this price range are particularly attractive when they include a capable graphics card. The RTX 5070 Ti offers 12GB of VRAM, a significant leap over the mobile RTX 5070. As a result, gamers can enjoy high-refresh visuals at up to 240Hz.

An OLED display without compromises

Evaluations of the Lenovo laptop find that its 2500x1600 OLED display stands out among 16-inch competition. HDR 1000 True Black support widens color palettes, while VRR reduces stutter during fast-motion gameplay.

It should be noted that the AMD refresh of the Legion Pro 7i introduced some new issues. However, most buyers report that a BIOS update resolved crackling audio complaints. There are also limited tests of its battery life, which is not a strength of the Arrow Lake alternative.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7 has a large footprint but should excel at pushing high frame rates on a crisp OLED screen. Remember to use the coupon code GAMINGDEALS to realize the $1649 final price.
