The Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Ryzen 9 9900X3D finally showed up on Geekbench yesterday. Before that, Intel's Core Ultra 275HX made a splash on PassMark by climbing to the top of its charts, but the Arrow Lake-HX CPU couldn't replicate that success on Cinebench. Now, a new leak from Weibo tells us when we might to get the three in action.
Golden Pig Upgrade Pack, a reliable Weibo leaker, says the review embargo for the Ryzen 9 9950X3D is set for March 11. Ideally, the Ryzen 9 9900X3D should also be shown off next to it. If true, the CPU should hit shelves a few days later. Those looking to build an all-AMD PC will find this timing impeccable because that's around when the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 drop.
Next up, the high-end Intel Arrow Lake-based Core Ultra 9 275HX review embargoes are set for March 12, just a day after the grand Zen 5 reveal. It will square off against AMD's Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, Ryzen 9 9955HX and Ryzen 9 9850HX, but there's no word about when their reviews drop yet. Either way, many gaming laptops combine one of the above with a GeForce RTX 50 series laptop GPU, which can be pre-ordered on February 25.
