To the dismay of many mid-range gamers, Nvidia has equipped the latest GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop with just 8GB of video memory. While this is arguably enough to run the vast majority of modern games at high settings, it might not be particularly future-proof. Anyhow, quite a few gamers are probably thinking about buying a new RTX 5070 laptop, such as the Lenovo Legion 5 (2025).
These machines have just hit the market and are barely available at most notable retailers. Fortunately, the smaller but highly rated and manufacturer-authorized online shop Colamco is already selling the Legion 5 15AKP10 at a reasonable discount of 8 percent or $140 in relation to the official sticker price of $1,799. Consequently, the Lenovo gaming laptop is now orderable for $1,660 including free shipping. This particular configuration is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 7 350, which is an octa-core processor from the brand-new Krackan Point family of CPUs.
Lenovo's new 15-inch notebook also comes with 32GB DDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. Meanwhile, the WQXGA has a resolution of 2560 x 1600, but the remaining technical specifications of this panel are nowhere to be found. Presumably, this could be the same 165Hz OLED screen with 500 nits and 100% DCI-P3 that Lenovo is listing for the Legion 5 with the model number 15AHP10. Therefore, early adopters are in for a bit of a surprise, but the decent discount might be worth it for some impatient shoppers who can't wait any longer with their upgrade and don't want to snatch a much more affordable RTX 4070 laptop instead, in which case the LOQ 15 is available for $999 on Amazon.
