iQOO tipped to launch new flagship tablet smaller than Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 4

The Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 4 is confirmed to launch sometime in May 2025, and just like its predecessor, it will feature an 8.8-inch display, making it a small tablet with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite. Per Digital Chat Station, iQOO is preparing to launch an even smaller tab, which will have flagship specs but will be more compact, coming with an 8.3-inch screen.

While Digital Chat Station didn't share any further details about this small tablet, previously, the tipster shared that the iQOO Pad 3 series is expected to launch within the first half of 2025. In late March 2025, the Pad 3 Pro was spotted on 3C, which hints that the official announcement is around the corner.

On that note, previous reports suggested that the Pad 3 Pro will feature the Dimensity 9400+, one of the current flagship SoCs from MediaTek. These early leaks have also hinted that the non-Pro variant will feature a 12.1-inch screen while the Pro will sport a 13-inch display.

So, if the latest report from Digital Chat Station is assumed to be true, the 8.3-inch flagship tab could be the third addition to the series. It's also possible that the compact flagship tab could launch with a different name.

In related news, RedMagic is also preparing to release a Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 4 competitor, which is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite. However, it's not apparent yet whether it will feature the same 10.9-inch display as the last-gen RedMagic Nova.
