The iQoo 13 is about to lose the title of only Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered smartphone from its brand due to the impending launch of the Neo10 Pro+, according to the latest rumors.
It is thought to look and feel a lot like its 10 and 10 Pro siblings with the same camera hump and flat plastic mid-frame, thanks to a new render.
The Pro+ might be the only device of its line with a subtly curved rear panel finished in blue, as per the new image. It suggest that there might be multiple shades of the color arranged in a matrix of patterned squares, whereas the Neo10 series has had two tones at most to date.
The new finish may or may not be intended to reflect iQoo's continuing partnership with BMW Motorsport, a group that might co-brand the Neo10 Pro+ as it does the flagship 13.
The 10 Pro+ is also thought to pack a 2K display "on par" with more premium Snapdragon 8 Elite handsets from other brands in terms of power-efficiency as well as touch-response, image quality and user eye safety.
The upcoming flagship refresh is also thought to benefit from iQoo's latest 7,000mAh/120W battery technology and a higher-end ultrasonic fingerprint reader - all for the equivalent of about $410 in China.
