The Z10 Turbo and Turbo Pro are well named, as they are powered by the same MediaTek Dimensity 8400 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoCs as the Redmi Turbo 4 and 4 Pro respectively.
iQoo has now asserted that both of its new smartphones have a better, faster, brighter display, with a 6.78-inch/1.5K/144Hz panel with new Huaxing C9+ technology to deliver HBM brightness of 2,000 nits and a typical brightness rating of 860 nits (compared to 1,800 and 800 in the Turbo 4 Pro).
The new line of "super-explosive performance handsets" are also now confirmed to have UFS 4.1 storage to go with their LPDDR5X Ultra RAM (specs usually reserved for higher-end smartphones) - even in the vanilla Z10 Turbo.
The 7,000mAh Z10 Turbo Pro has a smaller battery compared to its Redmi nemesis - however, it comes with a 120W USB-C to -C charger in the box, rated to power the device from 0 to 100% in just 33 minutes.
By contrast, the Z10 Turbo is now the Dimensity 8400 smartphone with the most battery life (on paper, at least), although it is not much thicker than the Turbo 4 at 8.1mm.
It now starts at 1,799 yuan (~$247) in China with 12GB of its top-end RAM and 256GB of its top-end storage, while the Turbo Pro goes for 1,999 yuan (~$274) as a base model of the same configuration.
Both smartphones are available in black, white and gray as well as a flame-effect orange finish.
