The iQoo 15 is thought to launch as an alternative to next-gen Snapdragon 8 Elite 2-powered Android smartphones such as the OnePlus 15 in some markets.
Unlike its OnePlus counterpart, it is also thought to launch alongside an even more premium 15 Pro sibling, which was thought to have an upgraded 3x periscope zoom lens (as opposed to 2x in the 13) as an edge over the vanilla version.
The latest iQoo 15-series tip indicates that this is not the case, and that it will in fact launch with the 3X zoom camera upgrade across the board.
The 15 and 15 Pro are likely headed for an October launch, just like their predecessor, leaving iQoo free to turn to the mid-range section of the Android market with what might be a final killer blow at the end of the 2025.
It might come in the form of the Z10 Turbo Endurance Edition, now touted to adopt the Redmi K80 Ultra formula of packing high-end attributes such as a 2K display, a metallic mid-frame and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for a surprisingly attractive price.
The second-gen Turbo Endurance Edition might also challenge the K80 Ultra with a ~7,000mAh battery and possibly even an IP68 rating in its latest leak. The putative Z10-series flagship might be able to boast even more resilience with a high-silicon version of that large-capacity technology.
