Redmi Turbo 4 Pro debuts with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and 7,550mAh battery for ~$301

The Redmi Turbo 4 was launched in January as a mid-range smartphone. Now, the company has launched the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro in China.

Specifications

The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro features a 6.83-inch OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. It offers a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 3200 nits. Additionally, the phone features narrow bezels measuring 1.5mm on top and sides, while the bottom chin measures 1.9mm. For unlocking purposes, the phone features an optical in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone also supports Wet Hand Touch 2.0 technology, allowing users to use the phone with slightly wet hands.

The Turbo 4 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. It is a new premium octa-core chipset from Qualcomm based on TSMC’s N4P 4nm process node. According to Redmi, the Turbo 4 Pro scores 2.4 million points on AnTuTu.

The phone also features a large battery capacity, thanks to silicon-carbon technology. It has a 7,550mAh battery that can be fast-charged at 90W. Additionally, it supports 22.5W reverse fast charging. For comparison, the standard Turbo 4 featured a 6,550mAh battery.

The Turbo 4 Pro utilizes a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, there is a 20MP camera on the front. Other notable features include an IR scanner, NFC, and dual stereo speakers.

Design and color options

The Turbo 4 Pro offers a sophisticated look with a pill-shaped rear camera module. The phone offers a metal frame for a premium feel. Additionally, the phone is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. The device comes in three color options including white, black, and green.

Pricing

The base variant of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro features 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It is priced at CNY 2,199, roughly translating to 301 USD.

Devices in the Redmi Turbo lineup are often rebranded for the international markets. For example, the Redmi Turbo 4 was launched as Poco X7 Pro globally. Therefore, we expect the new Turbo 4 Pro model to be rebranded as well, likely as the Poco F7.
