After releasing the Redmi Turbo 4 months ago, Xiaomi is now set to debut the Turbo 4 Pro in China. The performance-focused mid-range phone is expected to launch soon, and a new leak has now revealed some more details ahead of its debut.
As shared by leaker Smart Pikachu, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will debut shortly and will do so with a 7,500 mAh battery in tow. That indicates the Turbo 4 Pro will be the latest Xiaomi phone to adopt a silicon-carbon battery chemistry. The Turbo 4 launched back in January with an already impressive 6,550 mAh unit, and its "Pro" sibling could now go a step further.
Supposedly, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will also feature a glass body and metal mid-frame combo. Additionally, it could be set to be the first device to hit shelves with Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 onboard. That chipset was unveiled two weeks ago and is already proving itself to be a capable performer, with performance on par with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 at least.
It's unknown when exactly the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro will be unveiled but current information leans towards a launch at the very end of the month. Certification listings indicate the Redmi device could be rebadged as the Poco F7 for the Indian market and while that phone can be expected to also feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, it's unlikely to get the 7,500 mAh rumored here. After all, both the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra arrived globally with smaller batteries than their Redmi K80 series Chinese-market counterparts.
