Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 4 Pro: Snapdragon 8s Elite sub-flagship tipped to feature a super large battery

The Redmi Turbo 4 has launched as an upper mid-range smartphone with the new Dimensity 8400 Ultra and an iPhone 16-like design. Xiaomi is reportedly working on the Pro variant, and it's expected to be among the first phones to feature the Snapdragon 8s Elite.

Ahead of any official announcement from the company, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has shared some key info about the sub-flagship. According to the Weibo leaker's latest report, the sub-flagship phone will come with a large battery, with a capacity starting with 7. In other words, it could pack a 7,000+ mAh battery.

Seeing such a large battery in the Redmi Turbo 4 wouldn't be surprising, as a good number of recently launched phones already come with batteries with similar numbers. The RedMagic 10 Pro is a good example. That gaming phone features a 7,050 mAh battery. While this report didn't share anything about the charging speed, the tipster's past reports suggested 90 W fast charging support (140 W Anker 737 curr. $106.48 on Amazon).

Besides sharing info about the large-sized battery of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, Digital Chat Station shares that the sub-flagship will sport a 1.5K display. It will reportedly be a flat screen. As for the build, the tipster shares that the device will sport a metal mid-frame and have a glass back.

The report didn't share anything about the price, though. However, past reports suggested that the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro could start at CNY 4,000 in China, which is around $545.
