Nothing has announced the launch date for its first smartphone of the year. The upcoming device is believed to be the Nothing Phone (3), one of 2025's highly anticipated smartphones.
According to a post made on X, Nothing will unveil its first smartphone of 2025, the Nothing Phone (3), on the 4th of March. Based on the date, the announcement will happen during Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona which is scheduled to take place between March 3 to March 6. The event will begin at 10:00 AM GMT and will most likely be live-streamed.
The post not only reveals the date and time but also includes a tease of the phone. Based on the image, the Nothing Phone (3) will be sporting a new design, one that seems very familiar.
The teaser seems to show the rear camera island of the Nothing Phone (3), and from the looks of it, it appears the phone will have three rear cameras, a first for a Nothing smartphone. From the looks of it, the camera island will sit in the middle of the phone, in a fashion reminiscent of the OnePlus 7 Pro, a phone believed to be one of OnePlus's best.
The teaser also shows that the Nothing Phone 3 will retain the Glyph Interface, and this time, it seems it will have a pulsing effect.
It has been officially confirmed that the Nothing Phone (3) will be a flagship phone, a first for the brand whose previous phones have been mid-range and budget devices like the Nothing Phone (2a) (curr. available on Amazon for $389.99). There are no confirmed details of its features yet but this also means the Nothing Phone (3) will be Nothing's most expensive phone yet.
