Lain Li has been at the forefront of PC case fan design. It first introduced its UNI Fan series back in 2020 and has since expanded the lineup with upgraded models. Now, the company has announced the UNI Fan SL-INF Wireless that bring a dual design and wireless connectivity allowing for fewer cables to manage. These are also daisy chainable and come in black and white colors.
UNI Fan SL-INF Wireless specifications and features
Lian Li currently offers only 120mm fans in its UNI Fan SL-INF Wireless series and these can ramp up to 2,300 RPM with 67 CFM airflow and 29.2 dBA noise. What’s new with these fans is the design. The two sides of the fan, facing the user and the away from the user (based on top, bottom, front mounting), have different designs. While both have the infinity mirror effect, one side is rectangular and the other has a tapered design. This allows users to choose between the two different visual effects.
The fans use FDB bearings and come in standard and reversed blade design. The reversed blade option ramps up to 2,200 RPM but moves more air at 69.7 CFM. They are a little louder though at 32.2 dBA.
There are three lighting zones adorned by a total of 58 addressable LEDs. Besides the fans lighting up, there are two LED strips on the face and infinity mirror lighting on the sides. All the lighting can be controller through a wireless 2.4GHz USB dongle that is capable of managing fan speeds and lighting for up to 10 Lian Li device groups. The receiver comes with a 4-pin PWM cable for 12V power delivery and has an additional PWM cable for stable power deliver.
UNI Fan SL-INF Wireless price and availability
The fans are currently available for pre-order in black and white colors. The three pack is priced at $105 while a single fan costs $32. At the time of writing, these have not been listed online. Those willing to forgo the wireless functionality and dual design, or want larger fans, can grab the Lian Li Uni Fan SL-Infinity for $90 (buy 120-Triple pack on Amazon).
