It seems that Xiaomi is gearing to replace the Poco F6 and Poco F6 Pro (curr. $457.99 on Amazon), which it launched simultaneously last May. Since then, the company has released various Poco branded smartphones, including the Poco X7, Poco X7 Pro and Poco X7 Pro Iron Man Edition that debuted last week. Based on recent evidence, Xiaomi will introduce three Poco F series smartphones globally this year, including a new 'Ultra' branded model.
A recent SDDPI certification reinforces this, which links the Poco F7 Ultra with the model number '24122RKC7G'. For reference, Xiaomi released the Redmi K80 Pro two months ago in China with the model number 24122RKC7C. Hence, the SDPPI has effectively confirmed that the Poco F7 Ultra is a re-branded Redmi K80 Pro for global audiences with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.
By contrast, the SDPPI reports that the Poco F7 Pro carries the model number '24117RK2CG'. Although the Indonesian regulatory body does not provide any other information, 24117RK2CG is the global version of '24117RK2CC', the model number for the Redmi K80. The Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra should be joined by the regular Poco F7 too, which may well be a re-branded Redmi Turbo 4 Pro powered by Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset. Presumably, Xiaomi will introduce all three Poco F7 series smartphones sometime this spring.
