Xiaomi has now released the Poco X7 globally, almost four months after the device leaked as a version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G. Incidentally, while the latter is available in China and India, the Poco X7 has beaten its Redmi Note sibling to a full global release.
As expected, Xiaomi has replaced the Poco X6 (curr. $269.99 on Amazon) with a full redesign. For instance, the Poco X7 has moved to a curved display, albeit with a 6.67-inch, 1220p and 120 Hz AMOLED panel like its predecessor. With that being said, Xiaomi protects the display with the sturdier Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which also peaks at 3,000 nits across small areas.

Additionally, the Poco X7 utilises MediaTek's Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset, although this may only be marginally more powerful than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 that powers last year's model. On top of that, the Poco X7 comes with up to 12 GB of RAM, a 5,110 mAh battery and a 50 MP primary camera complemented by 20 MP front-facing, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle and 2 MP macro lenses.
Xiaomi will be offering the Poco X7 in black, green and silver colour options at launch, as well as a choice between two memory configurations. Specifically, the Poco X7 will start at £249/€299 (~$308) with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Alternatively, the handset will be available with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage for a £50/€50 (~$52) surcharge.
