Xiaomi has introduced the Poco X7 series globally. The Poco X7 series consists of two models: the vanilla Poco X7 and the Poco X7 Pro model. The Poco X7 Pro 5G has a 120 Hz AMOLED display, a 50 MP primary camera, a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset, and a huge 6,000 mAh battery, among other features. It is now available via Xiaomi’s official website.

Xiaomi has unveiled its latest performance-focused Poco X7 series globally. The Poco X7 series consists of two variants: the vanilla Poco X7 and the Poco X7 Pro. A successor to the Poco X6 Pro (currently at $292 on Amazon) comes with significant upgrades in terms of processor, display, and battery. The handset features a 6.67-inch ‘CrystalRes Flow’ AMOLED display that outputs at 2712 x 1220 pixels with a peak brightness of 3200 nits (up from the X6 Pro’s 1800 nits) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The panel has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on top and covers a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra processor paired with a Mali-G720 GPU, 8/12 GB of RAM, and 256/512 GB of internal storage with no room for storage expansion. According to Poco, the Dimensity 8400 Ultra is 54% more powerful than its predecessor. Xiaomi also packs LiquidCool technology 4.0 into the X7 Pro to keep things cool under extended gaming sessions. It runs Android 15-based Xiaomi HyperOS 2 out of the box.

The Poco X7 Pro has a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 90 W wired charging. This is a significant upgrade from the X6 Pro’s 5,500 mAh battery. Sadly, there’s no wireless charging support here. For optics, Xiaomi has opted for a dual-camera setup for its latest X7 series devices. The Poco X7 Pro features a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50 MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS (optical image stabilization) support and an 8 MP ultrawide shooter. Upfront, it has a 20 MP shooter for selfies and video chats.

It does have an IP68 water and dust resistance rating (up from the IP54) and comes in a choice of black, yellow, or green finishes. Other Poco X7 Pro features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, up to 24 GB RAM expansion support, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, an IR blaster, and NFC. Speaking about dimensions, the plastic back variant measures 160.7 x 75.2 x 8.29 mm (HWD) (6.32 x 2.96 x 0.32 inches) and weighs 195 grams (0.42 lbs), while the vegan leather model weighs 198 grams (0.43 lbs) and is thin at 8.43 mm (0.33 inches).

Alongside the regular Poco X7 Pro and Poco X7, Xiaomi also launched the Poco X7 Pro Iron Man Limited Edition that we’ve covered separately. As for the other two, the X7 is the most affordable one in the X7 series.

The Poco X7 Pro is orderable in the US and UK via Xiaomi’s official website for £309/$299 for the base 8 GB + 256 GB model, and the 12 GB + 512 GB model costs £349/$339.
