Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 series specs and pricing leak ahead of Spring release

The next generation of Xiaomi's electric scooters first surfaced online a few months ago at the TDRA's website. The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 series is tipped to launch shortly, and a new leak has now revealed specs and pricing details of three models in the lineup, as well as an extra, adjacent model.

As spotted on the enthusiast forum escooter-treff citing Finnish retail store "Sahkopotkulaudat", Xiaomi is set to launch the Electric Scooter 5, Electric Scooter Pro, and Electric Scooter 5 Max. The store also lists a previously unheard-of model, the Electric Scooter Elite. 

All three Electric Scooter 5 models share some specs: a top speed of 25 KM/h, an operating range of 60 KM, a battery capacity of 477Wh, 120 kg load capacity, and 10x2.5" tubeless tyres. That said, the base Scooter 5 only offers a power rating of 350 W, versus the 400 W of the Scooter 5 Pro and Scooter 5 Max. The latter two also said to feature front and rear suspension setups, while the standard Scooter 5 offers only a front suspension system.

The Electric Scooter Elite maintains the 25 KM/h top speed, 120 KG loading capacity, and 10x2.5" tubeless tyres of the others but only offers a range of 45 KM thanks to its smaller 360 Wh battery. That, of course, also makes it the cheapest offering of the lot, with a listed RRP of €419. Comparatively, the Scooter 5, Scooter 5 Pro, and Scooter 5 Max are listed at €469, €599, and €699 respectively. All four scooter models are touted to launch in the Spring, likely around March or April.
