CES 2025 | Segway Xafari new full-suspension e-bike launches with discount
Segway has unveiled the Xafari Electric Bike at CES 2025. The e-bike is an all-terrain model with a step-through frame and a range of smart features. The bicycle is powered by a motor with up to 750W power and 80 Nm torque, 12 assistance levels and a top speed of 20 mph (~32 kph). This is accompanied by a 936Wh battery for up to 88 miles (~142 km) assistance range.
The Xafari has suspension at the front and rear, with 80 mm and 70 mm travel, respectively. The handlebar-mounted display shows information like your speed and remaining battery. Plus, thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, it can be used for music controls and to answer phone calls. You can use Apple Find My to track the location of your bike, and AirLock Keyless Locking can deter thieves. Other features include hydraulic disc brakes, 26 x 3-inch all-terrain tires, lighting and a rear rack supporting loads up to 55 lbs (~25 kg).
You can now order the Segway Xafari Electric Bike in the US for $2,399.99. Plus, the company is offering early customers a $200 discount when they use the code EBIKE200 (expires February 2nd). It is worth noting that the e-bike can only be picked up in-store, with locations in cities like New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago. The Xafari is expected to be ready at some point in February. Whether or when this e-bike will reach Europe remains to be seen.
