Segway has revealed the GT3 Pro folding e-scooter, which will launch in the US and Europe later this year. The new model was shown alongside the GT3, or GT3 E, model at CES 2025. Both are described by the brand as SuperScooters.
The GT3 Pro has a powerful 7,000W dual motor system, far surpassing the 2,400W of the standard GT3. The Pro model offers a top speed of 49.7 mph (~80 kph), reaching this speed in 39 seconds. It also has a 2,160Wh battery said to provide assistance for up to 86 miles (~138 km), though this is at the lower speed of 16 mph (~25 kph). The e-scooter can tackle slopes with an up to 38% angle, and dual hydraulic suspension makes your ride more comfortable.
A smart TFT display between the handlebars shows information like the e-scooters speed and remaining battery level, and it can also be used for navigation and incoming call notifications. Other features include a traction control system (TCS), 11-inch self-sealing tires and accessories like a headlight, indicator lights, and brake lights.
The pricing of the GT3 Pro has yet to be revealed, but it is expected to launch in April. However, you can now buy the Segway GT3 e-scooter in the US for the discounted price of $1,499.99; this is $200 off the $1,699.99 MSRP, and the offer ends on January 27th. It can also be pre-ordered at Amazon for $1,599.99. It is unclear when either model will be released in Europe.
