Segway has launched three new two-wheeled e-mobility rides, the Muxi, Myon, and Xaber 300. The Myon is available for $1,999.99 from Segway dealers, while the Muxi will be available in March for $1,699.99. The Xaber 300 will be available in Spring/Summer 2026 for $5,299.99.
Xaber 300 e-dirt bike
The Xaber 300 is an off-road e-dirt bike with comparable performance to a 300cc gas-powered motorbike. The e-bike is designed to be safe for beginners, with geofencing that automatically reduces available power to ‘limp mode’ when young riders have wandered too far from their designated ride areas. The power mode can also be set to a reduced 150cc or 200cc equivalent, and a maximum wheelie angle can be set in-app to prevent injuries due to excessive power. Traction control is built in and selectable according to the terrain, such as rain or mud. Although unnecessary, a clutch simulator mode provides gasoline bike riders with the feedback they have learned to expect.
Muxi direct-drive e-bike
The Muxi is an all-electric ‘mama chari’, shorthand in Japanese for a bicycle originally designed for women to carry their children to school and groceries from markets, powered by a direct-drive 750W rear-motor with a peak torque of 80 Nm. The 73 lbs. (33 kg) e-bike is capable of carrying a maximum payload of 418 lbs. (190 kg), 125 lbs. (57 kg) of which can be the rear passenger and 265 lbs. (120 kg) of which can be the front rider, on 5-inch-wide 20-inch tires. Riders can put their coffee cups in the fold-down cup holder to keep their hands free, while the built-in traction control system, hill descent control, and hill start assist help parents safely transport their kids to school.
The e-bike can be set to Class 1 or 2 mode, with a maximum Class 2 speed of 20 mph (32 kph) and range of 80 mi. (128 km), according to Segway. Hydraulic disc brakes in front and rear measuring 180 mm (7.1 in.), with automatic brake and signal lights, help provide safe stops. A 600-lumen auto headlight can be controlled from the 2.4-inch TFT, which has auto-brightness adjustment, ride metrics, and smartphone call and music control. Optional navigation capabilities, theft alarm and remote alerting, walk-away auto-locking, and Apple Find My lost or stolen e-bike tracking are available with a subscription.
Myon 9-speed e-bike
The Myon is styled like a women’s city bike, with an optional removable top-tube that can be fitted to make the bike easier to carry on racks or to hang frame bags and accessories on. The 500W motor with a peak torque of 85 Nm powers an electronically-shifted 9-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain. The 72.75 lbs. (33 kg) e-bike is capable of carrying a maximum payload of 300 lbs. (136 kg), 264 lbs. (120 kg) of which can be the rider, on 1.95-inch wide 27.5-inch tires. The front fork includes an 80 mm (3.1 in.) suspension for comfort.
The e-bike can be set to Class 1, 2, or 3 mode, with a maximum Class 3 speed of 28 mph (45 kph) and a range of 80 mi. (128 km), according to the company. Hydraulic disc brakes, automatic lights, 2.4-inch display, and optional capabilities are the same as the Muxi, but the Myon does not have its hill start assist, hill descent control, or the traction control system.
Options for both e-bikes, such as a Xiro dropper post, which automatically lowers itself at stops, a rearview radar, and a rear passenger kit, will be released in the first quarter of 2026.
