Xiaomi appears to be about to launch the new Electric Scooter 5 series. Three models have been found in the TRDA database, though few details were provided. They will follow the many models of the Electric Scooter 4 range, including four which launched earlier this year.

The Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 series has appeared online. Three models have been spotted in the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TRDA) certification database in the United Arab Emirates.

The three models are the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 (DDHBC35ZM), the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Pro (DDHBC45ZM) and the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Max (DDHBC40ZM). Unfortunately, the database listings did not reveal any details of these three scooter models. The new e-scooters are expected to feature upgrades on the older Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 series, which first arrived in 2022.

Four new models have already launched this year: the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro Plus, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro Max, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro (2nd Gen) and the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite (2nd Gen). The mid-range Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro (2nd Gen) has a 1,000W peak power motor, with a top assistance speed of 25 kph (~16 mph) and up to 60 km (~37 miles) range. How the specifications of the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 5 Pro will match up remains to be seen. Plus, the launch date and pricing for the new e-scooter series have yet to be revealed. As an indication on price, the Electric Scooter 4 Pro (2nd Gen) retails for €549.99 in Europe.
