The X20 is a brand-first for PVY in that it is rated for a total of 30Ah in capacity across the 2 battery packs that the bike can house for that almost motorbike-like look.
The bike is also touted as ideal for off-roading with its 20 x 4-inch tires and 100 newton-meter (Nm) torque sensor. Its "high quality 6061 aluminum alloy" frame also boasts a headlight, integrated tail-light, front suspension and rear shocks. An "ergonomically-designed" seat finished in brown leather-like material to match the handlebars and 7-speed Shimano gears is also included.
The X20 also sports a large PVY-branded LCD screen and can be unlocked to 50km per hour (km/h, or ~31 miles per hour (mph)) from its 25km/h (~15.5mph) stock speed.
On the other hand, the X20 is listed as having a 250W motor despite its 1,000W peak power rating. Accordingly, it is more of a match for the first-gen ENGWE M20 rather than the more up-to-date M20 2.0.
Then again, PVY's new contender comes with both batteries as standard whereas its ENGWE rival does not. It is available to order in Europe thus far at a €100 introductory discount to €1,399 (~$1,549), although the dual-battery M20 can be found on Amazon for $949 today (September 6, 2024).
