Decathlon has launched a new version of the Btwin F900E Electric Family Cargo Bike in Europe. The model launched in June as an electric bicycle that could carry up to four people. The first version came in the color Frozen Brown; now, the company has launched a Sunflower Orange variant.
Aside from the frame color, the two versions of the F900E appear identical. The electric cargo bike can support loads of up to 184 kg (~406 lbs), including 27 kg (~56 lbs) on the pannier rack and 101.5 kg (~224 lbs) at the front. The model comes with a carrier, windshield, and rain protector and is suitable for riders who are between 1.55 and 1.95 m (5.1 and 6.4 ft) tall. The e-bike is powered by a 250W Brose S Mag engine with up to 90Nm torque, assisting you at speeds up to 25 kph (~16 mph). The 630Wh lithium-ion battery is said to allow for 40 to 80 km (~25 to 50 miles) assistance range. Other features include a torque sensor, 4G and GPS connectivity and a color display to show your remaining battery range and speed.
You can now buy the Decathlon Btwin F900E in Sunflower Orange in EU countries like the Netherlands and France for €4,999, the same price as the original Frozen Brown version. The model is also listed on the Decathlon UK website for £4,999.99, but both colorways are currently out of stock online.
