Stromer has unveiled the ST5 Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition e-bike. The design of this limited edition model is said to be inspired by the Alinghi Red Bull Racing BoatOne, with a similar Marine blue and red color scheme.

An 850W SYNO Sport rear hub motor provides assistance at speeds up to 45 kph (~28 mph). This is accompanied by a Pinion Smart.Shift 9-speed gearbox and Gates carbon belt drive. There are three batteries on offer, with the highest capacity model, battery BQ983, offering 983Wh with a forecast range of 180 km (~110 miles), though this is likely a high estimate. Bluetooth and cellular connectivity allow you to control and track the bike’s GPS location via the Stromer OMNI app. Other features include an anti-lock braking system, a long fender, and Stromer Sound acoustic feedback for notifications or warnings.

It is worth noting that only 600 units of the e-bike are available. Customers can choose between three sizes: M, L and XL. Other configuration options include the addition of a suspension fork and suspension seatpost. The Stromer ST5 Alinghi Red Bull Racing Edition e-bike is available in countries worldwide, with prices starting from $12,139/£10,129/€11,139. With the range-topping battery, the extra suspension and other accessories, the cost exceeds $16,500/£13,500/€15,500.
