Garmin releases stable smartwatch update with new feature and over a dozen bug fixes
The Garmin D2 Mach 1 and D2 Mach 1 Pro aviator smartwatches are receiving a new stable update, version 18.14. The software is identical to a recent release for the Fenix 7 and related wearables, bringing one new feature and a range of bug fixes.
The new tool is Garmin Share, which allows you to quickly send workout and waypoint data between compatible devices from the brand. Also listed in the changelog are “improved race time predictions”. While Garmin provides no further information here, users of other wearables like the Forerunner 955 have suggested that the forecast was now more optimistic than before. The list of bug fixes includes resolutions for issues with metrics like activity calories and number of activities resetting to zero after a health snapshot. A problem with missing workout animations has been sorted out, as has a watch face screen distortion issue.
You can find the full change log below. The rollout of Garmin system software 18.14 for the Garmin D2 Mach 1 and D2 Mach 1 Pro smartwatches was announced as completed by the company in a forum post. The update should have arrived automatically, but can be manually triggered via the Garmin Connect app or Garmin Express.
