Garmin has now started rolling out a new stable update to its Fenix 7 and Fenix 7 Pro smartwatches, two months after the release of System Software 17.28. Also available across the Enduro 2, Epix 2, Quatix 7, MARQ Gen 2 and Tactix 7, the update is said to introduce almost two dozen improvements for all smartwatches, including a new Garmin Share feature.

Over two months have passed since Garmin last released a new stable update for the Fenix 7 series and its peers like the Tactix 7 (curr. $879.99 - renewed on Amazon). In the intervening period, Garmin has introduced various beta updates though, culminating in Beta Version 18.14. Additionally, it also released the Fenix E and Fenix 8, as well as the Enduro 3.

As for the Fenix 7 series, it seems that Garmin will continue to furnish it with new features and bug fixes for a while yet. Although it has not confirmed as much yet, the Fenix 6 series still remains eligible for fresh beta and stable updates, albeit with less frequency than its successor. At any rate, Garmin claims that System Software 18.14 brings nineteen improvements to the Fenix 7 series and related smartwatches, but only when comparing the new update against its predecessor, System Software 17.28.

Please note that the vast majority of these changes are bug fixes to address outstanding issues. Specifically, Garmin describes making sixteen bug fixes this time around, with Garmin Share serving as the only true new feature bundled within System Software 18.14.
