Huawei releases smartwatch update with new watch face customization tool
An update for the Huawei Watch Fit 3 smartwatch is rolling out globally. Version 4.2.0.193(C00M02) is 17.98MB in size and provides a couple of new features and improvements for the wearable.
Firstly, there are additional ways to customize Gallery watch faces. The change log does not provide details on what extra tools are now available. However, these changes have been reported to include more buttons with functions like jump. Another new addition, this time for the Stay Fit app, is a quick logging feature. Unfortunately, how this tool works remains to be seen. Finally, Huawei indicates that it has improved the experience when updating the smartwatch and enhanced system stability.
The company has yet to confirm what percentage of users have received update 4.2.0.193 or when the rollout will be complete. The software will be available to download via the Huawei Health app. The company recommends that users of the Watch Fit 3 ensure they have the latest version of the app before proceeding with the installation.
