Honor has now lifted the lid on its next wearable. Bearing more than a passing resemblance to an Apple Watch, the Honor Watch 5 features up to 15 days of battery life, a large AMOLED display and an accurate GPS module, among other features.

Honor has now introduced a new member in its Watch series across Europe and the UK. While the Watch 5 builds on last year's Watch 4, the former arguably looks more like an Apple Watch Series 9 (curr. $299 on Amazon) than it does other recent Honor smartwatches. To that end, Honor has included an off-centre digital crown, which sits on the device's top right edge.

Additionally, Honor claims that the Watch 5 weighs 35 g and is just 11 mm thick, despite featuring a 1.85-inch AMOLED display. For reference, the large display outputs at unchanged 450 x 390 pixels, which results in a 322 PPI pixel density. Moreover, the Watch 5 is said to last up to 15 days between charges thanks to a 480 mAh silicon carbon (Si/C) battery.

Added to that, the Watch 5 should provide more accurate GPS tracking than its predecessor, as well as 'one-click health scan' functionality that can record a snapshot of current health metrics within a few seconds or so. Furthermore, the Watch 5 should provide detailed sleep and morning health reports, much like its peers already do, plus over 300 pre-installed watch faces and countless exercise modes. Unfortunately, Honor has not confirmed pricing or availability for any markets, yet.
