The Swytch Max+ and Max++ e-bike conversion kits are now available to pre-order, with discounts for some customers. The new product has several advantages compared to older models from the brand. These include a longer assistance range, a smartphone charging port and integrated lighting.

Swytch has launched two new e-bike conversion kits: the Max+ and Max++. The company says it has used customer feedback to provide a range of enhancements compared to its older products. These include increased range, with assistance for distances up to three times longer.

The Max+ is said to deliver 30 to 40 miles (~48 to 64 km) assistance range, while the Max++ provides between 45 and 60 miles (~72 and 97 km) range. Other new features include a waterproof USB-C port, which you can use to charge your phone, and front lighting to improve visibility in the dark. Plus, the system is now compatible with a thru-axle, and the sensor, previously attached to the pedal, has been built into the motor. The 250W 40 Nm hub motor provides assistance at speeds up to 20 mph (~32 kph), or 15.5 mph (~25 kph) in countries with regulations. The Swytch kit is compatible with bikes with a 16 to 29-inch motor wheel and customers are offered Universal or Folding versions to suit their model.

You can currently pre-order the Swytch Max+ e-bike kit with discounted prices starting from $449/£399/€469, 60% off the RRP of $1,119/£999/€1,189. This price is for the Universal kit with the Max+ battery pack, and delivery in July 2025. Customers who want to receive the product in January must pay full price. It is also worth noting that limited stock is available at this time.
