Swytch GO eBike Conversion Kit launches with discount on offer
The Swytch GO eBike Conversion Kit has been launched in the UK. The product is designed to convert your regular bike into an electric bicycle. It was announced last year as a kit suiting various types of bikes, including hybrid, road and mountain models.
The GO eBike Conversion kit includes a 250W 40Nm front wheel motor for a top speed of 15 mph (~24 kph), a pedal sensor, and a power pack. The standard GO has a 187Wh battery for up to 20 miles (~32 km) range. The GO+ doubles the possible range to 40 miles (~64 km), and the GO++ offers a 378Wh capacity power pack for up to 60 miles (~96 km) range. Swytch states that all power packs comply with the UL battery safety regulations. The GO Kit is rated as IPX6 waterproof, and you can add an LED display, allowing you to switch between power modes and keep tabs on your battery level. Compared to the older Swytch Air, the new GO model has a simpler design, and the company suggests the power pack is easy to install using velcro straps.
You can now buy the Swytch GO eBike Conversion Kit for £599 at Amazon UK. However, customers who join the pre-order waitlist can get the product at the reduced price of £299. According to Switch, these customers can expect to get their hands on the kit within 12 weeks. Swytch also notes that the GO kit will be available more widely via a network of retailers next year.
