Ducati unveils new Futa All-Road carbon fibre e-bike
Ducati has revealed the new Futa All-Road e-bike. The E-Road model builds on the original Futa, which arrived at the end of 2022. According to Ducati, the newer electric bicycle has improved performance compared to its predecessor.
The Futa All-Road has the same rear hub motor, the FSA System HM 1.0, as the standard Futa. This offers up to 250W power, 42Nm torque and five assistance levels at speeds up to 25 kph (~16 mph). Also identical is the 250Wh battery, stored in the downtube, and optional range extender. You can use the FSA app to view journey information and your remaining battery life. Improvements come in the form of the SRAM Rival eTap AXS groupset, used in place of the FSA K-Force equivalent seen in the original. The SRAM version features 160 mm disc brakes and a 2x12-speed wireless electronic gear shift. Other changes include wider Vittoria Terreno Dry tires, 38mm at the front and 35 mm at the rear, and the FSA K-WING AGX carbon fiber handlebar.
The Ducati bike also comes with a Skuad bag set for bikepacking adventures. The model has a monocoque carbon fiber frame, with the size M weighing 12.4 kg (~27.3 lbs). The Ducati Futa All-Road e-bike is expected to be available from dealers this June in four sizes from XS to L. Rumors suggest that the model will retail for around €7,690 ($8,340). Ducati also notes that the product will be on show at the Eurobike fair in Frankfurt this July.
