The PVY Z20 MAX has the fairly conventional folding city e-bike form-factor of others such as the Heybike Mars 2.0 (now available on Amazon), except that it has spokeless wheels - and 2 batteries: 1 that is in-frame as usual, and another mounted above it and cunningly disguised as a water-bottle.
They are rated for a capacity of 25.6Ah combined, and to kill range anxiety by lasting up to 124 miles per charge. PVY has also equipped the Z20 MAX' frame with "sleek and modern" touches that include integrated taillights, ergonomic handlebars and an adjustable saddle, the last 2 of which are finished in a matching brown leather-like material.
The Z20 MAX also benefits from 7-speed Shimano gears, front suspension, rear shock absorbers and an 80 newton-meter (Nm) torque sensor. It comes with a motor set to 250W of output and a top speed of 25 kilometers per hour (km/h, or ~15 miles per hour), although enacting the ability to "unlock" it for more power might depend on local or state legislation.
PVY's new e-bike has a traditional chain rather than something more 'modern' made out of carbon, however, albeit an apparently rust-resistant one. It has been released today (May 10, 2024), albeit only in Europe for now, at a starting price of €1,099 (~$1,185), although the brand is offering a €100 discount with the code 100MAX from now until May 17, 2024.
