The Porsche Cross Performance EXC 2ND GEN e-bike is now available to pre-order. This is a more expensive model, with a carbon frame and a full-suspension system. Other features include tires from Continental and a Shimano display showing your current speed and remaining battery level.

Porsche has launched the Cross Performance EXC 2ND GEN for some markets. The premium 12-speed model has a carbon frame and comes with a particularly high price tag due to the brand name. Regarding its features, the new Cross Performance EXC 2ND GEN appears to be identical to the eBike Cross Performance EXC 2023 model.

The Cross Performance EXC 2ND GEN has a mid-mounted Shimano EP801 motor for up to 85 Nm torque. The small framed e-bike has a 504Wh battery, while the medium and large versions have a 603Wh battery. According to Porsche, this should provide up to 100km (~60 miles) assistance range in ECO mode, with the power pack recharging to 80% in 2.5 hours. A Fox 34 Float Performance suspension fork with 120 mm travel and Fox Float DPS rear shock makes riding across rougher terrains more comfortable. Other features include a Shimano XT rear derailleur, Magura MT Trail disc brakes, Continental Cross King tires and a Shimano SC-EM800 display to show your speed and the remaining battery. Should you wish, you could also mount your phone using Lamicall Bike Phone Holder.

As with the older bicycle, you must pre-order the Porsche eBike Cross Performance EXC 2ND GEN via the Porsche Designs website as it is made to order. The new model costs $15,665/€14,200/£13,145/CHF14,200; for context, the 2023 e-bike was priced at $15,350/€13,900. Deliveries are due to begin in the US around June 30th, while customers in the EU, the UK and Switzerland will have to wait until July 31st.
